Manhunt Underway After 8-Year-Old Girl and Man Injured in Double Shooting in West London

A manhunt is currently underway following a double shooting in West London that left an 8-year-old girl and a man with serious injuries. The incident, which occurred in the early hours, has shocked the local community as authorities work to identify the perpetrators. Both victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and police are appealing for any witnesses or information to help with their investigation.

A manhunt has been launched after an eight-year-old girl and a man were seriously injured in a shooting in west London on Sunday.

Police are appealing for help and information after they were called to Southern Row, Ladbroke Grove, just after 5.30pm following reports of a shooting.

In the appeal, superintendent Owen Renowden, in charge of policing for Kensington and Chelsea, said: “Did you hear any gunshots around 5.30pm yesterday evening? Did you see anyone fleeing from the area?”

The 34-year-old man and eight-year-old girl were taken to hospital. The girl is now in a stable condition.

A 32-year-old woman was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

Superintendent Renowden said:

“This is an appalling incident that has left two people seriously injured, including a young girl who thankfully is in a stable condition this morning.

“I am appealing to the public who may have been in the area at the time of the shooting.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information surrounding this incident. Your information matters, no matter how insignificant you may think it is.”

The shooting has raised concerns about safety in the area as officers continue their search for those responsible.
