The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has issued an apology for his statement suggesting that individuals who do not pay tithes would not enter heaven. He acknowledged the controversy his remarks caused and clarified his intentions, emphasizing that his comments were not meant to condemn anyone.
The pastor, while speaking on Dove TV at the ongoing National Youth Convention Dominion of the Church, said;
I’m apologizing for saying,’If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’ I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible. What the Bible says is, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness,without which no man shall see God.
