Tinubu Presides Over Historic Swearing-In of Justice Kekere-Ekun as 23rd CJN

In a historic ceremony held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the 23rd Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), marking a significant milestone in the country’s judicial history.

The new Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has been sworn-in by President Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu presided over Kekere-Ekun’s swearing-in at the Council Chambers, Presidential Villa in Abuja, on Monday.

Last week, the Senate confirmed Kekere-Ekun as the new CJN.

This followed her screening on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.

Tinubu had named her the new acting CJN following the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
