Echoing the frustrations of many Nigerians, Joe Igbokwe has delivered a damning verdict on President Tinubu’s government, suggesting that the country’s salvation lies with unborn generations. Igbokwe’s comments highlight the growing disillusionment with the administration’s economic policies.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has insisted that those who will rescue Nigeria are not yet born.
Igbokwe made the remark in the wake of the high cost of food prices in the country.
Posting on Facebook, the APC chieftain lamented that the cost of a bag of rice has increased to N100,000.

“With all the rice mills we have in Nigeria, my wife just told me that a bag of rice is now N100k plus.
“Without sounding immodest, I am constrained to say that the men and women that will rescue this country from self-inflicted pains and tears are not born yet,” he wrote.
Igbokwe, who is known for supporting President Bola Tinubu, had last week been critical of some policies of the current administration.
